Sipote

Sipote is a commune in Iasi County, Moldova, Romania, which include Chiscareni, Halceni, Iazu Nou, Iazu Vechi, Mitoc and Sipote. At the end of the 19th century, the commune turned into part of the Bahlui internet of Iasi County and consisted of the villages Sipotele, Sipotele de Sus, Mitocu, Halceni, Vladeni, Iacobeni, Draganesti, Soldana, Buhaieni , Onesti, Chiscarenii Noi and Fantantale, with a total of 4979 inhabitants.
