About Bivolari
Bivolari is a commune in Iasi County, Moldova, Romania, such as the villages of Bivolari, Buruienesti, Solonet, Tabara and Traian. The commune is placed on the right financial institution of the Prut, inside the northeastern extremity of the county, at the border with Botosani county and on the border with the Falesti rayon within the Republic of Moldova. It is crossed via the country wide street DN24C, which connects Iasi to Lipcani metropolis of Moldova. At Bivolari, this street results in the county street DJ282B which leads west to Andrieseni, Sipote, Plugari and further to Botosani county to Prajeni and Flamanzi.
At the stop of the 19th century, the commune turned into a part of the Turia net of Iasi County and consisted of the Bivolari honest and the villages of Bivolari, Buruienesti, Solonet, Chilienesti, Campul Monastery, Cornu Negru and Badarai, with a complete of 2873 inhabitants which a third of Jews. There were five church buildings and three colleges with 148 students inside the commune of which 33 had been girls. The Socec Yearbook of 1925 facts it in Codru, with a population of 4189 population within the villages of Badarai, Bivolari, Buruenesti, Cornu Negru, Silinesti, Soloneti and Tabara and inside the village of Edutu.
