Bra is a town and comune in the region of Cuneo in the northwest Italian district of Piedmont. It is arranged 50 kilometers 31 miles southeast of Turin and 50 km 31 mi upper east of Cuneo in the territory known as Roero.

Bra is the origination of the women's activist thinker Adriana Caero, legislator Emma Bonino, and of the extremist Carlo Petrini, author of the Slow Food development and of the world's first University of Gastronomic Sciences, whose principle grounds is situated inside Bra's city limits at Pollenzo.

Bra is additionally home to "Cheddar," a biennial worldwide celebration composed by Slow Food which includes the producers of distinctive cheeses from over the world. In 1997 the occasion pulled in somewhere in the range of 150,000 guests.
