About Castello di Baldissero d Alba
It is situated in the Bra city of Italy.Baldissero d'Alba Baussé in Piedmontese is an Italian town of 1.064 inhabitants in the province of Cuneo, in Piedmont.
It is part of the geographic boundary of the Roero and it was the possession of the family "de Summaripa" lords of Sommariva Perno.
In the thirteenth century, it passed under the Marquisate of Saluzzo and followed its fortunes until it became a French possession in 1547.
Towards the end of the XVI century the Baldissero, branch of the Summarize, following links with the famous Roman family, took the name of Colonna. It was occupied in 1588 by Carlo Emanuele I of Savoy.
