Bra

Bra is a town and comune in the territory of Cuneo in the northwest Italian area of Piedmont.

It is arranged 50 kilometers 31 miles southeast of Turin and 50 km 31 mi upper east of Cuneo in the region known as Roero.

Bra is the origin of the women's activist scholar Adriana Caero, government official Emma Bonino, and of the dissident Carlo Petrini, originator of the Slow Food development and of the world's first University of Gastronomic Sciences, whose primary grounds is situated inside Bra's metropolitan limits at Pollenzo.

Bra is likewise home to Cheddar,a biennial worldwide celebration sorted out by Slow Food which includes the creators of high quality cheeses from over the world. In 1997 the occasion pulled in about 150,000 guests.
