Bari Provincial Art Gallery

Situated on the splendid Lungomare promenade, the Pinacoteca Provinciale is a fabulous present day gallery that has a wide iety of works of art extending from the eleventh century straight up to the nineteenth century.

The building itself assumes pride of position on the promenade and has a progression of archways on the front façade and a lot of fancy detail.

Inside, the different exhibitions give an wealth of amazing craftsmanship including paintings from medieval times, and a large group of fine art fixated on the Apulian school of art and notable Italian artists. Work from artists, for example, Paolo Veronese, Giovanni Bellini and Tintoretto are especially interesting.
