About Windmill park

The Jaisalmer wind mill park is the India's largest operational onshore windmill farm, located near the Yamuna river, in between the Vindhya mountains and the Himalayas.

It attracts many tourists because the massive windmills are worth eyeing. Getting to learn about the the huge windmill project is an experience one must not leave out. The project was developed by the Suzlon energy. It is a powerful illustration of how Suzlon serves its customers.

The wind park enlightens the lives of the local community through the interventions by Suzlon foundations. It has impacted more than 5000 families in about 70 villages in Jaisalmer district with health care, water facility and tree Plantation. The wind park houses some of Suzlon's key customers, like Mytrah energy, Hindustan Zinc Ltd, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation etc.
