Tipu Summer Residence

Tipu's summer residence is another place in Nandi Hills one must not miss on. It was initiated by Haidar Ali and completed by Tipu Sultan. Later, Tipu Sultan used it as his summer resort. It also got another name, Tashk-e-jannat, meaning the envy of heaven. 

The residence is made mainly of wood and is exhibits brilliant carved arches and pillars. One can also go through the beautifully painted walls and ceilings.
