The Chandrampalli Dam has been constructed across the Bhima River, flowing through the city of Gulbarga in Karnataka. It was built in the year 1973.
The dam is a popular tourist attraction, situated in the lap of nature. The dam is flanked by two mountains, one on either side, and surrounded by the Gottam Gotta forest. This makes for a beautiful view, with the sound of gushing water in the background. There is an island located in the middle of the dam. The island attracts tourists as it offers opportunities for camping and trekking. The Chincholi forest lies nearby and has some great trekking trails.
