About Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal

The Thirumalai Nayak Palace was the habitation of King Thirumalai Nayak and was around four times greater than what is seen today. The outside, and also the insides of this royal residence, have been lavishly decorated. One can see the astounding stucco work done on the curves and arches of the royal residence. It exhibits a iety of engineering ponders going from the monstrous columns to the general overwhelming structure. There are an aggregate of 248 columns in this excellent castle. Guests can likewise appreciate a great sound and light show at Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal. The principle castle is separated into two areas, in particular Swargavilasa and Rangavilasa. In these two sections, there are different areas of the regal living arrangement, theater, sanctuary, flats, arsenal, regal bandstand, lake and garden. This eminent royal residence is generally considered as the most renowned landmark built by the Madurai Nayak Dynasty.
