About The Haft Gumbaz Tomb
The Haft Gumbaz is a set of seven tombs, located in the city of Gulbarga. It was built by the Bahmani rulers in order to honor the various rulers and military commanders of the kingdom.
The structure is also known as Saat Gumbaz as it houses saat (seven) tombs. It is flanked by beautiful gardens on all sides. The tombs are built in Tughlaq architectural style with high domes. Granite stones have been used in their construction. The tomb dedicated to Sultan Mujahid Shah is the best one, with curved designs all around it.
