Srinivasa Mangapuram is well known for Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swami Temple. This is one of the essential temples close Tirupati town and is situated towards Chandragiri town. It is one of the must visit Tirupati Temples. The old temple at this site was found by a few fans in 1540 CE. The present type of the temple appeared by the persistent endeavors of Chinna Thirumalaiyya, the grandson of Annamacharya.
As per legend, Lord Venkateswara remained here after his marriage with Sri Padmavati Devi. It is trusted that wise Agasthya asked for them to remain in his ashram for a half year. Afterward, the area where the Lord remained with his lady of the hour turned into a heavenly place of worship and procured the name, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple.
