The SNC Maritime Museum in Kochi is India’s ode to the wonderful past of its majestic Navy. Here they get a glimpse of the ambitious sagas, genesis and dealings of one of the pinnacle 10 naval powers in the global nowadays. Located at the INS Dronacharya, the records and evolution of their naval forces is on full show right here. The adventure takes you on a special trip that begins from the Indus Valley Civilization. From there we study Kerala's change links with the Arabs, its famous maritime hero Kunjali Marakkar; influence of India's maritime energy in South East Asia and the Colonisation of the Indian sub-continent by way of European powers.
The Navy’s origins in Surat in conjunction with capabilities on shipbuilding are especially popular points of interest right here. There is a unique phase devoted to put up-independence naval victories which include: Junaghad Operation, the Goa Liberation, Indo-Pak Conflicts of 1965 and 1971, Operation Cactus, Operation Pawan and the strategic manoeuvres throughout Kargil War.
