The Roopmati Pavillion is one of the most important monument in the historical city of Mandu. It is famous for the legendary and tragic love story of Prince Baz Bahadur and Rani Roopmati. Nestled atop a hillock, South of Baz Bahadur Palace, this is the place from where the queen would view the palace of her beloved, Baz Bahadur.
It was initially built as an army observation post, but later converted to a monument epitomizes undying love between Baz Bahadur and Rani Roopmati.
