Ranipet

Ranipet otherwise called Ranipettai is a suburb town and mechanical center of Vellore city in the territory of Tamil Nadu in southern India. It is a medium-sized network situated around 20 kilometers from the Vellore downtown area and furthermore Ranipet is a piece of vellore metropolitan zone and 100 kilometers from Chennai, the fourth biggest urban region in India. It is a noteworthy mechanical town situated on NH 4 Chennai-Bangalore thruway. The town of Ranipet is the fortification of Arcot Mudaliars and Balija Naidus.

The legacy town of Arcot, lies only south of the Ranipet is the Origin of Arcot Mudaliar people group. This town is arranged on the northern bank of the Palar waterway and had a populace of 50,764 starting at 2011. Ranipet was worked around the year 1771 by Sadut-ulla-khan, the Nawab of Carnatic, to pay tribute to the young dowager of Desingh Raja of Gingee, who submitted Sati upon her significant other's demise.
