About Peralassery

Peralassery is a small town in the Kannur district of Kerala. It is famous for the Peralassery Subramania Temple.

The temple is an important shrine according to the Hindu beliefs and legends associated with it. It is believed that Lord Rama and Lakshmana stopped here on their way to rescue Sita. They left a bangle here. The temple sees a lot of devotees throughout the year.
