Taliparamba

Taliparamba is a city in the Kannur area, territory of Kerala. Taliparamba Perinchellur is a piece of Kannur area in the territory of Kerala, India. Thali implies a sanctuary worked by Namboothiri. The name Taliparamba originates from place of numerous Thali sanctuaries. Taliparamba is a gathering of 47 towns spread over a territory of 1330.56 km² 513.73 sq mi. Taliparamba extending from the beach front territories of Ramanthali to Nuzhiyadu and Vazhathoor town and Karnataka outskirt.

 

The old name of Taliparamba was 'Lakshmipuram' which implies the place of flourishing. It has a normal height of 56 meters 183 feet.
