Sri Venkatachalapathy Temple is arranged on Swetha Varaha slope in Mela Thiruvenkatanathapuram town on the banks of Thamirabarani River in Tirunelveli region. Otherwise called Thirunankovil Temple, the temple is venerated as 'Then Thirupathi' and going to this temple is viewed as proportional to going to Tirupathi. This east-bound temple is worked as a 'maada kovil' with the fundamental place of worship on the lifted stage. The sanctum houses the fundamental divinity Venkatachalapathy alongside his two consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi. The divinity is found with four hands conveying conch and plate.
It is trusted that Lord Venkatachalapathy of this temple will favor childless couples on the off chance that they perform Pal Payasam pooja on the Shravanam day. In mahamandapa, the bronze icons of Garuda and Hanuman are found. The sub-temple of Ramanujar, Senai Mudaliar and Vishvaksena are loathe in this temple. Varadaraja Perumal Temple at Keezha Thiruvenkatanathapuram is about a large portion of a kilometer north of this temple.
