About Gundu Island

The Gundu Island is one of the many islands that make up the town of Kochi, Kerala, India. The November 1967 amalgamation order of the Kerala Legislative Assembly d Gundu Island as part of Kochi. Gundu is the smallest island around Kochi with an area of 5 acres completely surrounded by way of coconut timber. The island may be reached from Vypin island simplest via boat. The cool breeze and the calm atmosphere of the island appeal to a variety of site visitors.
The simplest building on the island belongs to a privately owned coir manufacturing unit that produces ropes and carpets with hand-crafted looms.The debris composing a beach are usually crafted from rock, which includes sand, gravel, shingle, pebbles.
