About Garh Ganesh Temple

Garh Ganesh Temple is a historical temple of Lord Ganesh inside the metropolis of Jaipur. It is positioned on the hills near Nahargarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort. Garh Ganesha temple is devoted to Lord Ganesha. It is thought that Ganesha is present in the temple within the shape of small toddler – Purushakriti. Located at the top in the Aravali hills, near the Nahargarh hill. In the Garh Ganesha temple, Lord Ganesha is established in the statue of infant Ganesha – Vigra Purushakriti.

The temple was constructed via Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh – Iwhen he carried out the "Ashwamegha Yagya" earlier than the status quo of Jaipur. He made the shrine and positioned the statue of Lord Ganesha. After that he stored the inspiration stone of Jaipur. He also stored the statue in this type of manner that Maharaja will be able to see the statue with the help of binoculars from the Chandra Mahal of City Palace, Jaipur.

Garh Ganesh also has ‘Dhwajadheesh’ Ganesha’s temple of Bari-Chaupar as its element. On the Ganesh Chaturthi in Bhadrapad Shukla Paksha, the honest of five days is prepared each year. Also on the first Wednesday after Diwali, anna-koot is widely known on the temple and on last Wednesday 'Paush month' is well known by way of organizing 'Paush bade'.
