Gangadwar is located in the area of Trimbak, Maharashtra. The place is famous for the spot where River Godai originates from the hill of Brahmagiri, and finally where the river flows down to a tiny spring from the mouth of Nandi. The place inhabits a temple which is dedicated to the Goddess Ganga or River Ganga located at the nest of the hill.
To reach the place one have to climb a numerous step of approx. seven hundred and fifty. One may see a cave popularly known as the Gorakhnath cave which is highly popular both for the trekkers and the devotees. The place is composed with serenity and tranquility with that stark blend of spiritualism and aestheticism.
