About Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa Monastery

Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa is one of the most popular tourist destination in Manali. It is a well known Buddhist religious center in the region. The monastery, even though small in size brims with spiritual energy. It is an old monastery, constructed by Tibetan refugees in the year 1960.

The monastery has a yellow coloured pagoda style roof that compliments the royal facade. The whole structure looks very beautiful and is worth visiting. There is a huge image of Lord Buddha inside besides the attractive murals depicting Buddha's non violent theories.

There are many small shops selling souvenirs and Tibetan handicrafts.
