About Drive to Ajaypal Ji

The Ajaypal temple is located about 10 kms from Pushkar. It was founded by Raja Ajay Pal, who was also the founder of Ajmer city. This temple was built in 11th century. It is surrounded by boulders of marble which gives it a beautiful look.

Travellers can take an amazing drive to the Ajaypal temple for this is one of the most scenic drives around Pushkar. In the initial part of the drive that is for about first 3 kms you will pass through forests, which will get replaced by sand dunes and valleys embraced with hills. A drive through these spell binding landscapes and some small villages will help you relax.

One can get down and talk to the villagers, click some photographs and have tea and local snacks. One could easily spot men with colourful turbans.
