Champavati Temple

Situated close to the Police Post and Treasury working in Chamba, Champavati Temple is a standout amongst the most religious goals and best places to visit in Chamba. It was worked by Raja Sahil Varman in the memory of Champavati who was her little girl. The temple's Shikhara style and different decorative stone carvings make it discernable from others.

It looks like the engineering bits of Nepal, highlighting structures that are round and hollow fit as a fiddle and are classified into 5 to 9 sections. The temple holds the holy places of Vasuki Naga, Wazir and Goddess Mahisasuramardini, a symbol of Goddess Durga. The best time to visit temple is from the period of March to June as the atmosphere is so lovely amid this span.
