About Begum Hazrat Mahal Monument

Built within the honour of an amazingly stunning and brave lady, Begum Hazrat Mahal, a marbled memorial stands upright within the Old Victoria Park in Lucknow. The construction of this memorial dates back to the year 1962. The country authorities, on 15th of August, built this monument to commemorate Begum Hazrat Mahal’s contribution inside the Revolt of 1857. The monument become decorated with flower strings and illuminated with neon tubes and turned into inaugurated in a grand rite. A marble pill with the Coat of Arms of the Royal family of Awadh was also positioned inside the premises.

Located in the coronary heart of Lucknow, the Begum Hazrat Mahal Park became as soon as a Rally floor used for Dusshera and other celebrations. Today, this park is one of the maximum outstanding gardens inside the Hazratganj area. Eye-catching fountains, bushes, plants and stoned pathways highlight the splendor of the park that offers a sigh of relief from the combustion of the town. The serenity of the location and the greenery around draws a huge wide variety of visitors who come there and spend a few satisfactory time.
