About Sedan castle
The medieval Sedan chateau commands the town and is an additionally the most critical authentic landmark here. Worked in the fifteenth century, with the protections included the sixteenth century, the mansion covers in excess of three hectares seven sections of land - it is said to be one of the most broadened strongholds in the world.
The primary living quarters in the palace date from the sixteenth century. However, were relinquished for a new settlement in the adjacent 'Manor Bas' Palais des Princes in the seventeenth century. Presently, pleasantly re-established and kept up, Sedan manor is available to the public.
