Pick up from Rly Stn. / Airport & drive to Udaipur. Arrive at Udaipur and transfer to the hotel. Udaipur, ’the city of lakes’ is admired for its fairy-tale palaces, lakes, temples, and gardens among many more. Built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh, the city has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Udaipur.

Breakfast at hotel. Morning city sight seeing tour. We will start the tour with The Jagdish ji Temple, This Milestone of the Maru Gujara architecture is iconic for its splendid Indian iconography. The temple houses the idols of Lord Jagannath. Next up The City Palace, which is a phenomenon fusion of Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles. It has several carved balconies, arches and decorated pillars, Zenana Mahal, Fateh Prakash, Durbar Hall and Shambhu Niwas. The palace also plays host for an amazing light and sound show in the evening. Lake Pichola, The Beautiful lake, offers to be a place fit for boating, preferrably during sunset, where many tourists enjoy a good ride on the calm waters. The Lake has four islands on it, Jag Mandir and Jag Niwas being the most famous among them. Saheliyon ki Bari or the Garden of the maids is marked by marble pavilions, lotus pools, marble elephants, kiosks and a variety of fountains. Next up, Bagore ki Haveli, which has numerous corridors, balconies, courtyards and terraces. There are a numerous rooms in the haveli, with displays of costumes and modern art. The Exhibits are awesome, which include unique symbols of the Rajput clan, such as jewellery boxes, dice-games, hookahs, pan boxes, nut crackers, hand fans, rose water sprinklers, copper vessels and other items are also on display here. The Haveli is the playing ground of a beautiful cultural show which includes singing, dancing and a puppet show.

Post breakfast, Monsoon Palace/Sajjangarh Fort, Built on the top of Bansdara Hills, Offers a stunning view of the city, this palace was used as the monsoon resort and a hunting lodge. Later visit Ahar Cenotaphs are the memorials of various Kings and Queens of Mewar Kingdom. It also consists of 19 chhatris which were built in the honour of 19 kings who were cremated here. Later visit Ahar Government Museum is another worth visiting place with its rich collection. Rare collection of earthen and copper pottery,sculptures of Hindu Gods and Jain saints and artefacts can be seen here. Shilpgram it is the ‘village of artisans.’ Shilpgram is the lively and exclusive museum of traditional Rajasthani arts and crafts with a hint of Mughal and European history. Later you can visit Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal, Vintage Car collection at the Garden Hotel. Fatehsagar Lake the lifeline of Udaipur has many gardens around the lake. It is not only popular among tourist but you will see many locals strolling around the lake for the evening walk. Also you can plan to visit Under the Sun Fish Aquarium at Fateh Sagar Lake, Wax Museum at the Sajjangarh road.

Post breakfast, we would head to sights which are yet not covered else shopping is also a great option in Rajasthan. Later based on your timings vehicle shall drop you at the Bus/Railway station/Airport.
