The White House: Washington

The White House is the official residence of the President of United States, often referred to as the most powerful man on earth. Originally built in the year 1792 by James Hoban, it was burned down by British but was rebuilt in the year 1818. Not all portions of the White House are open for tourists, but whatever you will see in White House will give you an idea of its brilliance and magnificence. There are guided tours organized inside the White House that will take you to East Rooms, Green, Blue and Red Rooms, the Ballroom, the entrance hall and the State Dining Hall. Notice the Neo Classic architecture that runs throughout the building. The art collection, paintings and statues are also a major tourist attraction in the White House.
