University of South Florida Botanical Gardens

The University of South Florida Botanical Gardens 15 sections of land 6.1 hectares are situated on the grounds of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, United States, and comprise of 7 sections of land 2.8 hectares of created gardens in addition to 6 to 9 sections of land 2.4 to 3.6 hectares of common greenbelt. The professional flowerbeds were set up in 1969 for use by the Biology Department in the USF College of Arts and Sciences. Today, it is a piece of the Department of Geography, Environment and Planning in the College of Arts and Sciences at USF.
