Symphony Orchestra

It is an ensemble established in the late nineteenth century by Morris Steinert, a German migrant. Its first execution occurred in 1895, and the ensemble has a long relationship with the Yale School of Music. Yale charged Woolsey Hall in 1901, and it turned into the setting for exhibitions by the symphony.
A progression of Children's Concerts started in 1933 in Yale's Sprague Hall and later in Woolsey Hall. Just traditional music was performed until the point when the Pops Concerts arrangement was set up in 1945. Today, the New Haven Symphony Orchestra's Young People's Concerts are a vital piece of the ensemble's training program.
