Cove Island

Cove Island Park is a 83-section of land stop and shoreline in the Cove area of Stamford, Connecticut, situated on Long Island Sound. It is a well known spot for Stamford occupants to rollerblade, bicycle, walk, grill, and ride the cable car around the island. The city's Park Commission has slackened and confined park access to away guests after some time. As of summer 2018, Stamford inhabitants with substantial Stamford auto enlistments can purchase a season go for $25 at Government Center.

The area known as the Cove comprises of the promontory flanked by on the west by the Shippan neighborhood of Stamford and on the east by Holly Pond, which, alongside the Noroton River, isolates Stamford from Darien, Connecticut. Bay Island is withdrawn from shore on the East end of the Cove. It is connected to the territory by two extensions, one of which is open by engine vehicles. The recreation center's parking garage is situated on the Cove landmass, opposite Cove Island, and the western piece of the recreation center encompasses the parking garage.

The recreation center has been the central station of SoundWaters, a philanthropic natural training association that offers a free little aquarium, music, kayak trips, school excursions, and family exercises ashore and on board a 80-foot yacht. Outside the recreation center's passage is the Terry Conners Ice Rink, where youngsters may skate in the winter, take skating exercises, or hold the arena for unique events.
