About Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library

The Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library is housed in Yale University's Hewitt Quadrangle on Wall Street, and it is the scholarly document and uncommon book library of the Yale University Library. Worked in 1963, the library was a blessing to the college from the Beinecke family. Strikingly, the library is one of the world's biggest structures committed only to uncommon books and original copies.
The library has some of its most prized belonging in plain view, including a duplicate of the Gutenberg Bible. A portion of the library's different accumulations incorporate works by James M. Barrie, Joseph Conrad, Charles Dickens, Benjamin Franklin, Goethe, and some more. The library additionally displays transitory shows of books from its gathering.
