Norwich City Hall

Norwich City Hall is the seat of civil government in Norwich, Connecticut. It is situated at Union Street and Broadway, unmistakably sitting above the city's focal business area. Worked in 1870-73, when Norwich was as yet a town, it has filled in as the seat of civil government from that point forward. Compositionally it is a conspicuous statewide case of city Second Empire design, and was recorded on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 as Norwich Town Hall for its engineering and history.

Norwich City Hall is situated in downtown Norwich, on a bundle limited on the west by Union Street and the east by Broadway. It ignores Union Square, a noteworthy street intersection flanked by other metro structures, including two houses of worship. It is an extensive red block building, 2-1/2 stories in stature, with a full third floor under its mansard rooftop.
