About Museum of Alabama
The Museum shares a wonderful stately building, worked in 1940, with the Alabama Department of Archives and History. The historical center is found right over the road from the Alabama State Capitol in downtown Montgomery and recounts the tale of Alabama's past - from ancient circumstances to the present.
Probably the most huge lasting displays at the Museum are The Land of Alabama, about the characteristic assets and topography that influenced the state's history, and The First Alabamians, a diorama around fourteen thousand years of Native American culture, highlighting brilliant paintings and numerous unique ancient rarities.
The centerpiece of the Museum is the display Alabama Voices, which portrays emotional occasions in Alabama history from the mid 1700s to the cutting edge time. The Museum holds more than 800 relics, several records and pictures, and has twenty-two contemporary ying media programs about the wars over land, the cotton economy, the ridiculous Civil War, world wars, the raise of social liberties and considerably more.
