With a long history of water wears, the current water cleanup has made this famous spot busier than at any other time.

There are a lot of spots for a picnic, you can go for a picnic. Strategically placed ideal off Rt. 95/128, this tree-lined segment of the waterway gives inexhaustible untamed life to see along the way.

A significant portion of the river’s shore along this area of the stream is encompassed by parks, including Cutler Park and Millennium Park, and the vast majority of the riverbank is woodland and swamp.
