Your trek to Newburyport and Plum Island starts at a young hour in the day on the beach.Take Plum Island Turnpike to the island a hour or two after dawn and you can most likely get a space in the little parking garage straight ahead toward the finish of the street, which has a place with the town of Newbury. With the exception of anglers and puppy walkers, the island's excellent shoreline will be to a great extent betrayed from the Merrimack River in the north to Ipswich Bay in the south.his is the most tranquil shoreline I've been to in New England, and maybe the most wonderful."
