About Blunt House

The Blunt House is one of oldest two-story homes worked in Dalton, USA. It was the home of Ainsworth Emery Blunt, the primary chairman and postmaster of Dalton. He was likewise one of the organizers of the First Presbyterian Church in Dalton and was an exceptionally powerful and unmistakable man among the Southern culture of Dalton. The Federal-style house was finished in 1848. In 1864, the Blunt family moved to Illinois, and the house was utilized as a healing center by the Union Army.
