About Rickmansworth Aquadrome
Rickmansworth Aquadrome is a 41 hectares open stop and Local Nature Reserve in Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire. It is claimed and overseen by Three Rivers District Council. There are two lakes, which were made by the extraction of rock for the first Wembley Stadium; Batchworth Lake is utilized for water skiing and Bury Lake is utilized by Bury Lake Young Mariners for cruising and paddling. The site has a ious scope of untamed life habitats. It has little copper and watchman butterflies.
The Aquadrome has open meadow; regions of forest with trees, for example, oaks and willows; numerous feathered creatures including herons and moorhens; a lot of auto stopping; a bistro and a youngsters' play zone. Its limits are the River Colne toward the north, the Grand Union Canal toward the east and south and Stocker's Lake nature hold toward the west. In July 2009, it got a Green Flag Award for parks and open spaces which meet elevated expectations. Vehicular access is from Harefield Road through Frogmoor Lane'.
