Rickmansworth

Rickmansworth is a residential community in southwest Hertfordshire, England, around 17 miles 27 km northwest of focal London and inside the border of the M25 motorway. The town is predominantly toward the north of the Grand Union Canal in the past the Grand Junction Canal and the River Colne. The closest expansive town is Watford, around 5 miles 8.0 km toward the east. Rickmansworth is the managerial seat of the Three Rivers District Council. The conjunction of the Chess and the Gade with the Colne in Rickmansworth enlivened the area's name. The broadened Colne streams south to frame a noteworthy tributary of the River Thames.

The town is served by the Metropolitan line of the London Underground and Chiltern Railways from London Marylebone to Aylesbury.
