About Saanen
Saanen is a municipality in Bern's campus in Switzerland. It is the capital of the Obesignment-Sanan administrative district. Sanan was first mentioned in 1228 as Gesani. In 1340 it was mentioned as Sanon. During the Bronze Age, there was a hill fort on Cholis Grind near the modern village of Saenen. The region was captured by the Gallo-Romans until the 10th or 11th century, when Almani began to take them out. This migration created the boundaries of modern language in Switzerland. During the Middle Ages, many forts were built in the valley of trails and in Vaudh for the fort.
These include Kramberg which was first mentioned in 1331, but now covered with later construction, Swabia Reid Tower 11th-12th Century and Tower Showyard as seen as part of house number 349 is. During the Middle Ages, it was part of Venel's Vogetti in Grouyer County. In 1244, Count became the vassal of Savoy. Financial problems of Counts forced them to sell Sogane residents to some parts of Vogetti and some rights in the 14th century. The village then became the center of the Sanen district and Parish. Villages often used to work against the interests of counting. In 1340, the Valley concluded a peace treaty with the Simmental, which was provided for arbitration in disputes. In 1393 he entered another treaty with Valais. In 1401, Count Rudolf of Gruer entered into a treaty with Bern, in which Sarn was involved.
