Goa always remains the centre of attraction for Indian traveler. However, during this monsoon
season the tourism department has decided to prohibit sports activities and swimming at its 105 km coast. The decision is taken to provide safety to travelers from the heavy rain. Visitors to Goa will now have various hinterland activities like eco-trekking and expedition in the place. The officials said that the water activities at coasts are banned due to the expected heavy rainfall during the rainy season. The ban will be uplifted after the monsoon season.
The shacks were already dismantled from the shore and now these water activities will be stopped for this season. Thus, travelers who are planning to enjoy their holiday in Goa will be disappointed with this move. However, the pleasure and entertainment at the place are never diminished, as travelers will have various other sports and activities that will entertain them. Experts say that the tourism department has to take a step to prevent this move even during the monsoons. This will provide the huge profit to the shack owners and would be great options for travelers to enjoy low-cost trip to Goa during monsoons.
