Manolo Safont Tile Museum

The Museum of the title "Manolo Safont" preserves, as a result of a great work of preservation since its foundation in 1968, outstanding ceramic collections of Valencian architectural application. The funds, estimated at around 30,000 objects, range from the classical period to the present, highlighting the tile collections of the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as the industrial ethnological objects and the documentary series of this last stage.

The City Council of Onda aware of the great historical-artistic background that the Museum keeps and the obsolete facilities of the old headquarters decided to build a new building, a new container to fully develop the fundamental missions of the Museum Institution. The signing of a collaboration agreement between the Department of Culture of the Generalitat Valenciana and the City of Onda has allowed us to complete the first phase of construction of the Museum and start a new stage with full vocation of public service.
