About The castle of Onda
The castle of Onda is a fortification located in the Spanish town of Onda Castellon. It was d in 1967 Historical-Artistic and Well of cultural interest. The original structure was erected by the Muslims in the tenth century on an ancient Roman settlement. The primitive structure appears buried under different reconstructions carried out throughout the centuries.
It became known for its large size as the "castle of the 300 towers", as it was said that it had as many towers as days have the year. For a few years it has been in the process of being restored. At the moment it lodges a museum, in which it emphasizes the exhibition of Muslim plasterwork coming from a palaciega house of principles of century XIII.
