National Museum of Slovenia

The National Museum of Slovenia is housed in a halfway found neo-Renaissance royal residence worked in the vicinity of 1883 and 1885 to outlines by Viljem Treo. The Museum's history backpedals to 1821, to the establishment of its ancestor, the Provincial Museum of Carniola. This is one of the oldest museum.

This show unites the most critical archeological finds from the National Museum of Slovenia's ancient accumulation, including, among others, the Neanderthal woodwind from the Divje Babe uncovering site, which is thought to be the world's most seasoned melodic instrument, and the acclaimed Situla, an Early Iron Age custom vessel found in the town.
