About Michurinsk
Michurinsk is the second most crowded town in Tambov Oblast, Russia. Initially known as Kozlov, it was established in 1635 at the northern end of the developing Belgorod Line. A 25-kilometer earthen divider was assembled eastbound over the open steppe successfully hindering the Nogai Trail, a Tatar attacking course.
