Rasskazovo

Rasskazovo is a town in Tambov Oblast, Russia, situated on the Lesnoy Tambov River Tsna's tributary at its juncture with the Arzhenka River 40 kilometers east of Tambov. It was established in 1698 and named after Stepan Rasskazov, a local of Morshansk and the primary pilgrim in the area. In the 18th– mid 20th century, Rasskazovo was known for its bungalow ventures, for example, stocking weaving, skin dressing, light and cleanser creation. In 1753, a material production line was constructed and later a coloring manufactory.

Rasskazovo was allowed town status in 1926. Inside the structure of managerial divisions, Rasskazovo fills in as the authoritative focus of Rasskazovsky District, despite the fact that it's anything but a piece of it. As a regulatory division, it is fused independently as the town of oblast importance of Rasskazovo, a managerial unit with the status equivalent to that of the districts. As a civil division, the town of oblast centrality of Rasskazovo is fused as Rasskazovo Urban Okrug.
