Zherdevka

Zherdevka is a town and the authoritative focus of Zherdevsky District in Tambov Oblast, Russia, situated on the Savala River Khopyor's tributary, 128 kilometers south of Tambov, the regulatory focal point of the oblast. It was established in 1954 after the merger of Zherdevka railroad station opened in 1869, a settlement almost a sugar production line worked in 1937, and a settlement of Chibizovka.
