About Kota Kinabalu City Mosque

The Kota Kinabalu City Mosque is Islamic contemporary architecture which is situated near the sea located about 3 kilometers from Kota Kinabalu City 10 - 15 minutes drive away. It is one of the most beautiful Mosques in Malaysia. There is the man-made lagoon which gives a serenely gorgeous and dramatic look to the mosque on a full moon night.

The mosque is open for public visits daily except Fridays from 8 am to 5 pm. There are no fees charged to visitors. The mosque is a common tourist destination as a common destination for photographers. Anyone can visit here, except during prayers but it is mandatory to wear modest clothing during visits here.
