Kedah State Art Gallery

The Kedah State Art Gallery Malay: Balai Seni Negeri Kedah is a workmanship exhibition in Alor Setar, Kota Setar District, Kedah, Malaysia. The development of the display building began on 21 January 1893 and completed in 1912 as the high court constructing and was authoritatively opened by Kedah Sultan Abdul Hamid Halim of Kedah as the soonest current government working in Alor Setar. In 1931, the high court moved to another working close to the Federal Building and the first building was changed to oblige the Audit Department, State Treasury and British Advisory Office.
To check the Silver celebration of Sultan Abdul Halim, the building was changed over into a workmanship exhibition and was administered by the Sultan on 25 July 1983 and along these lines was opened to general society.
