About Wat Jitraram
Wat Jitraram is a Thai Buddhist Temple in Jitra, Kedah. It is situated in Kampung Sungai Baru. The sanctuary has a Thai-style appointment lobby and other helper structures. The most part of the temple are quite visible from the North-South Expressway. It is very near to the town area, Which is one of the popular temple for local.
The temple is situated beside a river, November of every year will have Loy Krathong celebration on that river. People said inside of this temple you can find an old powerful monk. It is one of the best temple in this city.
